Red semi-gloss metal wall plates are available in a variety of sizes and configurations, including standard single-gang plates, utility plates for 2×4 metal utility boxes, and 4×4 plates for exposed metal boxes. We also offer many common device openings, such as toggle, rocker/Decora-style, duplex outlet, blank, and selected multi-gang configurations.
While this collection includes all red semi-gloss metal wall plates, red plates are commonly used to identify emergency power, boiler shut-offs, gas or oil emergency switches, HVAC controls, and other safety-related equipment in hospitals, commercial buildings, and mechanical rooms. Some plates are plainly red, while others are marked with messages such as “Emergency On-Off” or “Gas Emergency On-Off.”
