Measuring 5.5 in. high x 5.5 in. wide, this oversize plate—also commonly called a jumbo wall plate—provides considerably more coverage than a standard-size plate. The larger footprint is ideal for concealing oversized or uneven wall openings, damaged drywall, old paint lines, imperfect tile cuts, gaps around electrical boxes, and other wall or tile imperfections.
