What is Princess Size?
Princess size wall plates have the same overall width as standard wall plates but are taller in height, providing a slightly larger footprint on the wall. This added height helps cover uneven drywall cuts, paint overlap, or small imperfections around the electrical box, while still fitting standard Decora® / rocker devices. Princess plates also feature softly rounded edges for a more refined look compared to standard wall plates, making them a popular choice for both residential and commercial installations.
