This cover is designed for compatible range and dryer receptacles requiring a 2.125 inch diameter opening. It is specifically listed by the manufacturer for use with Leviton 278 and 279 receptacles.
Because power receptacles are available with several different opening diameters and mounting arrangements, confirm the required opening size for your receptacle before ordering.

This is an exposed-work electrical box cover, not a standard decorative wall plate. It is sized for a compatible 4 inch square metal electrical box, not a larger 4-11/16 inch square box.
The 2.125 inch opening diameter is important. Other locking, power, range, and dryer receptacles may require different opening sizes such as 1.620, 1.730, 2.165, 2.255, 2.275, 2.480, or 2.625 inches. Verify the receptacle specifications before ordering.
