Description
Mount two toggle switches on a 4 inch square metal electrical box with this raised galvanized steel cover. Made in the USA, this double toggle cover features two side-by-side switch openings and a 1/2 inch raised profile for exposed-work installations. Mounting screws are included.
Designed for Exposed Electrical Boxes
This exposed-work cover closes the front of a compatible surface-mounted metal box while supporting the installed switches. It provides a finished face for switch locations in garages, workshops, basements, utility rooms, and commercial spaces where the electrical box remains visible rather than concealed behind a finished wall.
Galvanized Steel Construction — Made in the USA
Manufactured from 0.0625 inch thick steel, equivalent to 1/16 inch, this cover has a silver galvanized finish. It is the galvanized steel version, without the gray powder-coated finish.
- Double toggle configuration: Accommodates two separate, compatible toggle switches side by side.
- Fully depressed corners (crushed corners): Help make box mounting easier and faster.
- 1/2 inch raised profile: The cover face projects forward from the box-mounting surface for exposed-work applications.
- 4 inch square box fit: Designed for compatible drawn or welded metal electrical boxes.
Check Box Size and Switch Configuration
This is an exposed-work electrical box cover, not a standard decorative two-gang wall plate. It is sized for a compatible 4 inch square metal electrical box, not a conventional in-wall two-gang device box or a larger 4-11/16 inch square box.
The two narrow openings accommodate traditional toggle switches. They do not fit the larger rectangular faces of rocker switches or GFCI receptacles. Confirm the box size, switch configuration, and mounting arrangement before ordering, and follow the installation instructions for the cover and switches.
