Description
Mount a compatible GFCI receptacle or rocker switch on a 4 inch square metal electrical box with this raised galvanized steel cover. Made in the USA, it features one centered rectangular device opening and a 1/2 inch raised profile for exposed-work installations. Mounting screws are included.

This cover supports the installed wiring device and provides a finished face for a compatible surface-mounted metal box. It is a practical choice for exposed outlets or switches in garages, workshops, basements, utility rooms, and other spaces where the electrical box remains visible rather than concealed behind a finished wall.
Galvanized Steel Construction
Manufactured from 0.0625 inch thick steel, equivalent to 1/16 inch, this cover has a silver galvanized finish. It is the galvanized steel version, without the gray powder-coated finish.

Check Box and Device Compatibility
This is an exposed-work electrical box cover, not a standard decorative wall plate. It fits a compatible 4 inch square metal box, not a standard single-gang box or a larger 4-11/16 inch square box. Confirm the box size and mounting arrangement before ordering.
GFCI mounting: Box mounting (3.281 in. between mounting holes). The cover manufacturer's instructions specify that the device strap ears must be removed before mounting. Check the instructions for both the cover and your selected wiring device to confirm compatibility and installation requirements.
