4-Inch Square Raised Cover for One Toggle Switch and One Duplex Receptacle
This 4-inch square raised electrical box cover is designed to mount one standard toggle switch and one duplex receptacle directly to a compatible 4x4 metal electrical box. It combines lighting control and electrical outlets in one compact, surface-mounted installation.
Also commonly called a 4-square toggle and duplex cover, 4x4 switch and outlet cover, combination exposed-work cover or raised device cover, it is suitable for residential, commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Combination Switch and Outlet Configuration
The cover includes one narrow opening for a standard toggle switch and one duplex opening for a conventional two-outlet receptacle. Both devices mount directly to the raised cover, allowing a switch and electrical outlet to be installed together on one 4-inch square box.
1/2-Inch Raised Exposed-Work Design
The 1/2-inch raised profile provides space for the two wiring devices while covering the electrical box and enclosed wire connections. It is designed for exposed-work applications where the electrical box is mounted on the surface rather than recessed inside a finished wall.
Durable Silver Galvanized Steel
Made in the USA from approximately 1/16-inch-thick pre-galvanized steel, this cover provides the strength required for exposed electrical installations. Its silver galvanized finish helps resist oxidation, corrosion and rust and is ready to install as supplied.
Crushed Corners for Easier Installation
The fully depressed corners, commonly known as crushed corners, are designed to make box mounting easier and faster. This cover can be installed on compatible drawn or welded 4-inch square metal electrical boxes.
The crushed-corner construction also provides direct metal-to-metal contact with the box, so a separate bonding jumper is not required when the cover is properly installed.
